i heart them.

I struggled writing this blog, not because I didn't have much to say. In fact, I have too much. I am not sure I can do the Dressler family justice, but I'll do my best.
Rick is the Pastor at my church, so that's Pastor Rick to me, or Pastor Ricky, or Pastor Rick Rick. You get the point.
Something about blogs make me want to give my readers a history lesson on how I know the wonderful things I say about people to be true. This post is no different. I'll keep it short.
I met Pastor at a youth event years ago when he challenged my friends and I to a soccer game. I am sure he said something to the tune of "I bet you play like a girl." Naturally I proved him right, I played like a girl and that day girls happened to kick butt. At least that's how I remember it. A year or two later I joined a group that was sent to help Maple City Baptist Church host Bible clubs throughout Chatham. I was able to get to know this special family a bit more then.
Fast forward - today. My brother is a youth pastor at MCBC and so I have enjoyed visiting there occasionally for the last 5 years and now attending regularly since May. I have been able to get to know them well and I can truly say, I LOVE this church and I LOVE this family!
I look up to them. I have learned so many things from them and they make me :) every time I see em. Pastor & Kim are madly in love, their photos are a testament to this, can't fake that kinda love. They are the family that everyone wishes to be. They adore one another, help each other and laugh together...a lot. They are truly gems and we are incredibly blessed to have them minister at our church. We look forward to serving alongside these wonderful people for years to come.
