On November 6, 2006, I was attending school in Pensacola, Florida and my parents were down visiting. It was a Wednesday evening and we were just finding our seats before the church service began. I walked down the row and found myself walking straight for a highly attractive guy I'd seen around campus. I sat down and formed an immediate crush. We chatted before church started and my parents instantly fell in love with him the moment they learned he was an avid canoer. During the service, while paying attention of course, I wrote a note to my sister and told her about the adorable hunk sitting next to me.
That boy was Justin and that day was his birthday.
4 years later, here we are....I got to marry the adorable hunk. I feel so blessed to call him mine forever. When I was a boy crazy teen, my mom had me write a list of qualities I wanted in my future husband...and he met every qualification and more!
This year, since I'll be flying to Pensacola on November 17th, we are pretending his birthday is the 20th. But I can't ignore the actual day, just don't have it in me. So today, on your for-real birthday, Justin, I hope you have the most wonderful day and thanks for being born! Love you!
