It Changed Me.

This evening our Pastor began his message with a request for the congregation to participate a bit more than usual. We were asked to testify of how the Gospel has changed/affected us and things we have gained because of it.

I prepared myself for notes.

As each person spoke, I found myself nodding. All of it true and something I too had experienced.

The Gospel is the gift that never stops giving. This list is just the tip of the iceberg. I trust you will differientate which are gifts of the Gospel and which are characteristics.

Salvation doesn't mean I am sinless, not even close, nor does it mean I am trialless. It does however mean I can achieve victory over sin in Christ's name and do not have to carry my burdens alone.

It was a sincere honour to hear the words of so many fellow believers brag on Christ and the power of the life-changing Gospel.

He died, was buried, and rose again. If you simply put your faith and trust in Him, He will save you.

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

I have never for one minute regretted making a decision for Christ. I am so eternally grateful for His amazing grace and saving power.

Long Distance Love

These two are so sweet together. Married just a year and a half, they are as newly-wed as they come. They are both incredibly smart people too. Besides being super smart, they are kind and easy to be with. I feel it's unfair for someone as gorgeous as Sarah to be so brilliant. Just my opinion.

Because of her education and his job, they are forced to live a few hours away from each other and only get to be with one another on weekends. They clearly cherish their moments together.

The snow decided to attack at our scheduled session time, so I wasn't sure they'd want to follow through with the shoot. They didn't miss a beat. We did a few shots inside before braving the snow. As it turned out the snowfall made a beautifully romantic setting and Michael and Sarah were naturals in front of the camera.

To the both you: Thank you for the opportunity to catch a glimpse of your fairytale. I wish you every happiness!

Wayyyy back.

It all starts in grade nine. Not for me, for my Mom and Judy. They've been friends ever since. If you were to ask my mom today about their friendship, she'd call it priceless. They have been there for one another through just about everything.

And so, I have known the Duncans all my life. Judy is a kind and giving lady, of her time and abilities. Bruce is just the same. Kind and giving. Their two girls, Krista and Kayla are incredibly successful in school and athletics. All around talented girls. And gorgeous. They have the most beautiful eyes. Oh and kind. It's in their genes.

Our shoot took place in the middle of a snowstorm. A bit dramatic. But it was snowing. A LOT. They never complained and were up for everything.

To the Duncans: thank you for your friendship and thank you for making this shoot so successful. Love you!

Introducing Scarlet

This is Scarlet.

Nothing but tiny adorableness.

Scarlet's mom has been a friend of mine since I was just four years old. Amazing to see how beautiful a person Jessie is today and how beautiful a family the Lord has blessed her with. Not only is this little girl adorable, she is incredibly happy and sweet too! Jessie couldn't hide her love of being a mommy if she tried. She is crazy about her new "job title" and she is clearly doing a great job. Scarlet has Shane wrapped around her finger. Theirs is the type of relationship all those country daughter-father songs are written about. No question about it, Scarlet is loved unconditionally!
